The difference between base plate and core drilled aluminum post

Like pool fence glass spigots, generally, there are two different kinds of aluminum post for semi-frameless aluminum post, base plate and core-drilled.

Base plate aluminum post
Base plate, as its name says, it is installed on the ground, please see the project cases below:
Core-drilled, a hole will be pre-drilled and concrete grouting in installation.

As for project decoration, both base plate and core-drilled is with high quality and high protection ability, just differ from the design.
About the strength, core-drilled is stronger, but if you want to update the fence, base plate is better to remove.
