Are you planning to design a glass fence for your balcony ?

Here are some general information for a glass balcony : Usually there are framed and frameless glass railing systems for your selection .

For framed glass railing system , it includes stainless steel post , glass panels and top handrail .

Fo frameless glass railing system , it includes standoff bracket /glass spigot to fix glass panels , without handrails or with handrails running on top . 

If you choose framed system , you need to choose if  you like square or round railing posts , then start thinking about glass thickness , usually 12mm thick glass panels is recommended .

The advantage of framed system is that its very strong and stable , and of course it will need a bit more budget .

If you choose frameless glass railing system , then there are two options : standoff frameless and spigot frameless .

For standoff frameless , usually one pc glass panel require four to six pieces of standoff bracket , standoff is to be fixed into wall .

For spigot frameless , one pc glass panel need two pcs glass spigots , gap from ground to edge of glass is 50mm .
